YOUNG SOUNDS OF ARIZONA Annual Meet The Composer Jazz Concert With Composing Great Fred Forney

Called “the best young talent in the Valley”, Young Sounds of Arizona is 40 young jazz musicians ages 14 to 19, chosen by audition each year from Phoenix area schools. Each year the big jazz bands and small jazz ensembles of this unique local wonder present a concert showcasing these young people and their music. This year’s concert is at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. The evening will feature a new composition scored and arranged especially for Young Sounds by Mr.
